FSCJ Building Named for Dr. Lois Gibson

Florida State College of Jacksonville recently announced that it has named a major campus building for the late Dr. Lois Gibson. Dr. Gibson’s work educating nurses who have provided medical care to thousands in Northeast Florida included her years of dedicated service as FSCJ’s Director of Nursing and then Dean of Health Services.
Continuing a family tradition of public service, Dr. Gibson’s daughter, Audrey, a paralegal with Terrell • Hogan, is beginning her second term in the Florida Senate. Senator Gibson formerly served in the state House of Representatives. In a further connection, firm president Wayne Hogan’s wife, Pat, a registered nurse and licensed mental health counselor, was one of Dr. Gibson’s nursing students.
