Fisher-Price Recalls Rock ‘n Play Sleepers After Infant Deaths

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced on Friday that Fisher-Price is recalling all models of its Rock ‘n Play Sleepers following more than 30 infant deaths.

According to ABC News, the move comes just days after the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) called on the CPSC to recall the sleepers, citing a Consumer Reports magazine investigation that linked the sleepers to 32 infant deaths. The analysis found many of the infants who died were younger than three months old and some of the deaths happened after infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side and could not breathe due to their position.

If you have one of these sleepers, stop using it immediately and call Fisher-Price at 866-812-6518 or visit www.service.mattel.com for a refund or voucher.
