BMW is Recalling 91,000 Mini Coopers Over Air Bag Problem

BMW is recalling 91,800 Mini Coopers fix a defective sensor that could prevent the front passenger seat air bag from deploying in a crash.
BMW said the recall will start on May 1.  The problem is that the the front passenger seat air bag may not deploy because of a defect in the occupant detection mat. The mat will be replaced in the recall. There has been one report of a minor passenger injury possibly related to the defective mat.
