Vollkswagen Recalling 420,000 Vehicles for Defective Airbags

Volkswagen is recalling 420,000 cars for a problem that stems from power cables that are meant to control the deployment of airbags in the case of a crash. In some cases, debris severed the cables, resulting in the airbag’s failure to deploy.
Vehicles included are:
2010 to 2014 Volkswagen CC, Jetta, Passat, and Tiguran
2010-2013 Jetta and Eos
2012-2014 Golf and GTI
2011-2013 Jetta SportWagen
